Pekin girls back on track
HIGHLAND ? The Pekin girls came away with a 56-53 victory over Highland in SEISC north action Tuesday night.
Emily Ellis scored 18 points and Cheyann Lankford added 16 to help the Panthers to a win after losing two straight games.
Jessica Horras and Samantha Wright added seven points each.
The Panthers (7-2, 6-2 SEISC south) host Wapello on Jan. 3.
