Pekin puts one in the win column vs. Columbus
PACKWOOD ? Paige Jensen stepped in to deliver ten assists and Pekin got back on track Thursday with a 25-23, 25-18, 25-19 sweep of Columbus.
?I?m proud of the way the girls came out and played tonight,? said head coach Jina Heisdorffer, whose team improves to 10-12 on the seaosn. ?We came out and were in control most of the night. We covered the court well and attacked the ball.?

Jessica Deutsch added eight more assists and tied Mycaela Crouse with a team-high five kills to lead the Panthers. Jaime Sterling, Erin Mosinski and Ally Machala added four kills apiece.
The win puts Pekin back at .500 in conference play with a 3-3 record heading into Tuesday?s trip to Highland.
