Pekin storms past Winfield-Mt. Union

WINFIELD - It was all Panthers on Tuesday night when the Pekin boys basketball team visited Winfield-Mt. Union in SEISC North Division play. Pekin had four players in double figures in a 68-44 victory.
Pekin led 11-9 after the first quarter, 38-25 at halftime and 57-33 going into the final period.
Brady Millikin went off for 20 points on 8-for-10 shooting and 4-for-6 from behind the three-point line. He also led the taem with four steals.
Cael Lyle finished the night with 13 points. Keenan Winn had 11 points, eight rebounds and five assists. Dayne Eckley scored 10. Brayden Sobaski had six. Nick Tshudy scored five, and Matt Long had three.
W-MU was led by Christian Gerot, who finished the night with 14 points. Ty Yocum had 10 points. Juanito Piper scored nine. Daunte Oepping had four points and five assists. Jared Arnold scored three. Bryce Wade had two, and the duo of John Day and Dawson Bergthold scored one apiece.
