Pekin to play Saturday

PACKWOOD -- The Pekin High School football team will play its Class 1A District 6 game this week on Saturday, not Friday.
The Pekin Panthers did not play its scheduled home game against Cardinal last week due to COVID concerns. This week's game is at Mediapolis and will begin at 7 p.m.
Pekin has a 1-1 record overall and 0-0 in the district. Mediapolis is 2-1, 1-0. The Bulldogs defeated Van Buren 41-6 last week.
