Pennington to coach in all-star game

Mid-Prairie head girls? basketball coach Marc Pennington has been selected to coach in the Iowa Girls Coaches Association All-Star Game, which will be held at Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids on April 6.
Pennington, whose team is currently 12-4 and ranked fifth in Class 3A, is one of three coaches chosen from all of Class 3A to take part in this event. Pennington met with coaches in West Des Moines last Saturday to select the 30 players from Class 3A who will take part in the game, which is sponsored by the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union.
