Washington?s Tommy Peterson signed his letter of intent to play football at Iowa Western Community College in Council Bluffs next season.
Peterson is a two-time All-State lineman, and said he chose to play for the Rievers after his visit.
?I really liked the campus and the coaches,? Peterson said. ?I found out it was for me the minute I went there.?
Along with leading the offensive line, Peterson was a force on the Demons? defensive line, finishing fourth on the team with 57 tackles, 12 tackles for a loss and three sacks in 2014.
Iowa Western is coming off an 11-1 season, with their only loss coming in the NJCAA National championship game, 34-17 to East Mississippi.
The succes is something Peterson hopes he can help continue while he is there.
?My goal is that I want to start right off the bat and to get a ring,? Peterson said.
