With the release of the 2022 Pizza Ranch All-Start Games rosters, it’s clear that Southeast Iowa will be represented well.
With some of the best senior talent from around the area, Union coverage players will find themselves matched up with fellow senior players from around Southeast Iowa and the state.
Those players selected from the Union coverage area on the boys side are: Mt. Pleasant’s Dewon Trent, Washington’s Kasen Bailey, and Mid-Prairie’s Carter Harmsen.
The coaches for boys are Burlington head coach Caleb Akey and Mid-Prairie head coach Daren Lambert.
On the girls side, Mid-Prairie’s Maddie Nonnenmann is the lone selection.
Matt Bolger of Tipton and Mt. Pleasant head coach Curt Watson are leading the girls.
Teams are broken up into four areas, Northeast, Northwest, Southeast and Southwest.
The day long event will start in the early morning on March 26 at Dallas Center Grimes Schools.
Teams will play the first round of game in the morning, followed by lunch and a 3-point contest. The consolation and finals games will be played in the late afternoon.
