Postseason set for Class 1A, 2A boys

The Iowa High School Athletic Association recently released the boys basketball playoff pairings for Class 1A and Class 2A.

In Class 1A, Iowa Mennonite School and Highland will meet for the third time this season with the game at Iowa Mennonite Thursday, Feb. 14. IMS has a record of 11-6 with two of those 11 wins over Highland. The first win was 51-48 at Highland Dec. 21. The second win was Thursday at IMS, 61-56. Highland's record is 11-7.

WACO and Lone Tree will play the first game Feb. 14 at IMS, even though they are in a different district. WACO has a record of 13-4 while Lone Tree is 7-9.

Keota (12-7) was sent to Burlington to play Notre Dame (13-4) Thursday, Feb. 14.

In Class 2A, Columbus (2-15) will play Monday Feb. 11 at Wapello (10-7).

Mid-Prairie (10-9) will play host to West Burlington (9-8) Feb. 11.
