In Class 1A, Mason Dye of Sigourney-Keota is ranked fourth at 120 pounds. He is a junior. Last year, he placed fourth at state where he went 4-2. He won once by fall, once by major decision and twice by decisions. He had a 50-6 record.
In Class 2A, Jarod Kadel of Columbus is ranked fourth at 138 pounds. He is a senior. He has finished second at state the last two years. As a sophomore, he wrestled at 106 and finished with a 31-7 record. Last season, he was 43-2 and lost his chance at a state title when the referee called a second stalling penalty with one second remaining in sudden victory.
