Prep baseball roundup: Cardinal wins big, New London stays perfect over Van Buren

Cardinal 11, Central Lee 1
The Comets scored 11 in five straight innings to skate past the Hawks on Tuesday.
Carson Kenney went 3-3 in the game. Landon Beck, Drake Durflinger and Josh Courtney all had two hits a piece. Tristin Cloke had one hit.
Landon Becker three on the mound for Cardinal. He allowed just three hits, one run, three walks and six strikeouts.
New London 6, Van Buren County 3
New London and Van Buren were tied 2-2 after two innings, but the Tigers scored three in the third and one in the fifth to put the Warriors away. Van Buren got one back in the fifth as well.
New London had 10 hits in the win.
Kooper Shulte and Dereck Santiago both had two hits. Josh Catala had a hit and one home run. Tucker Gibber, Carter Allen, Ryan Richey, Camden Kasel and Brenden Richey all had one hit. Allen also had two RBIs. Gibbar and Ryan Richey each had one.
Allen, Schulte and Santiago all pitched for the Tigers.
Jackson Manning went 3-3 in the game. Owen Loeffler had two hits. Taylor Sprouse, Izaak Loeffler, Lucas Fett, Lukas McEntee and Dylan Richardson all had one hit. Izaak Loeffler also had a pair of RBIs.
Sprouse and Loeffler threw for the Warriors.
Pekin 11, Louisa-Muscatine 0
The Panthers scored five in the second and third inning along with one in the fourth to down the Falcons in five innings on Tuesday.
Highland 7, HLV 1
Highland led just 2-1 after one, but the Huskies scored five the rest of the way out to down the Warriors.
Chase Schultz had three hits and two RBIs in the win. Connor Grindstead and Tyler Thompson each had two hits. Thompson also tallied an RBI. Logan Bonebrake, Kaige Vonnahme and Trevor McFarland each had one hit. Luke Miller finished with an RBI as well.
Ethan Paisley allowed three hits on the mound, one run (one earned), one walk and nine strikeouts.
Mid-Prairie 7, Solon 4
The Golden Hawks trailed 3-1 after one inning, but outscored the Spartans 6-1 until the game's end.
Cain Brown and Alex Bean each had two hits. Brown also had a pair of RBIs. Collin Miller, Will Cavanagh, Tyler Helmuth and Brady Weber all finished with one hit. Weber had a single RBI.
Cain Brown, Karson Grout, Dylan Henry and Bowen Burmeister all pitched for Mid-Prairie.
Hillcrest Academy 7, Winfield-Mt. Union 0
Hillcrest shutout the Wolves on Tuesday, scoring three in the first four innings and four in the final two to down the WMU.
Seth Ours had two hits and two RBIs in the box. Jace Rempel, Mason Bender and Rowan Miller each ended with one hit. Bender, Phoenix Anderson, Liam Schrock, and Luke Schrock all had one RBI as well.
