The Tigers scored four in the first three innings and added one in the fifth to take down the Bulldogs.
New London’s Tucker Gibbar and Camden Kasel each finished with pair of hits in the win. Gibbar and Kasel also had RBIs as well. Dereck Santiago and Ryan Richey each finished with one hit. Kooper Schulte and Brenden Richey each gave the Tigers an RBI too.
Santiago and Schulte threw from the hill for New London. The duo combined for one run allowed, one hit, one walk, one hit batter and eight strikeouts.
Highland 14, Sigourney 1
Highland scored 11 in the first three innings, and added three more in the fifth to skate past the Savages.
Connor Grinstead, Tyler Thompson and Brenton Bonebrake all had three hits for the Huskies. Bonebrake had an RBI too.
Chase Schultz and Logan Bonebrake combined for one run allowed, three hits, one walk and six strikeouts.
West Burlington 13, Winfield-Mt. Union 12
The Wolves held a 4-0 lead after one inning, but the Falcons scored 12 between the second and fourth inning.
Winfield scored one in the fourth and seven in the sixth, which would have tied it but the Falcons scored one in the top of the inning to win it.
