Prep softball roundup: Mid-Prairie win streak to six, Keota looking for first win

Just a few of Union Area softball teams were in action on Wednesday night. While rain put a halt to some of the areas action, Mid-Prairie and Keota were still able to compete.
Mid-Prairie 8, West Branch 3
The Golden Hawks win their sixth in a row with the win over the Bears. Mid-Prairie scored five runs in the 10 inning to down West Branch.
HLV 11, Keota 1
Keota led HLV 1-0 after the first innings, but the Eagles never scored again in the matchup. The Eagles are still search for their first win of the season.
The Eagles, now 0-12, will take on Lynnville-Sully (6-14) on Friday.
