Preseason football rankings: Class A

The Gazette’s preseason football rankings are being released throughout the week, and Class A has a familiar face at the top of its list.

West Hancock, the defending Class A champions, earned five first place votes in the poll. Hartley HMS was second in the rankings with one first place vote.

No Union area Class A schools are ranked in the preseason.

1. West Hancock
