Columbus outscored visiting IMS 27-6 in the third quarter of Friday?s Southeast Iowa Super Conference North Division game to turn a three-point halftime lead into a 57-35 rout.
Senior Megan Pretz scored a game-high 18 points to lead the Wildcats (9-7, 8-7 SEISC North). She also grabbed 11 rebounds to break the school?s career rebounding record, which was previously held by Joanne Woepking. Pretz now has 663 rebounds in her career.
Sophomore Kelsey Pretz added 12 points for Columbus, and junior Martha Anaya had 10 points and five assists.
Junior Olivia Yutzy and sophomore Hannah Miller scored nine points apiece to lead IMS (7-11, 6-10 SEISC), and Yutzy grabbed eight rebounds.
