Recreation department announces volleyball leagues
The Fairfield Park and Recreation Department will be holding volleyball leagues for men and women beginning in November.
Four leagues are available, including Men?s Volleyball, Women?s Recreational Volleyball, Women?s Power Volleyball and Co-Ed Volleyball. Games for Men?s Volleyball and Women?s Power Volleyball will begin Nov. 7, and Women?s Recreational Volleyball and Co-Ed Volleyball will start Nov. 8.

The Fairfield Park and Recreation Department will be holding volleyball leagues for men and women beginning in November.
Four leagues are available, including Men?s Volleyball, Women?s Recreational Volleyball, Women?s Power Volleyball and Co-Ed Volleyball. Games for Men?s Volleyball and Women?s Power Volleyball will begin Nov. 7, and Women?s Recreational Volleyball and Co-Ed Volleyball will start Nov. 8.
Games times will be 7:30, 8:30 and 9:30 p.m., depending on the number of teams registered. All games will be held at the Fairfield Middle School gymnasium.
Rosters will be open to add players throughout the season, although a player may only play for one team. Players must be 16 years old to play in the leagues.
The registration fee for the league is $75, and the deadline is 5 p.m. Oct. 28. After this coming Saturday, a $25 late fee will be charged.
Registration forms are available at the Roosevelt Recreation Center. Forms may be mailed or dropped off and must include roster and registration fee.
