?We lost our focus and cohesiveness tonight,? Mid-Prairie head coach Cindi Miller said. ?Hopefully we can pull everything together before Thursday night at Monticello. There is not an easy match to be played in our conference, we just need to keep trying. This team has put so much effort into so many games and came up short.?

Freshman Jaedyn Evans led the charge offensively for the Golden Hawks, with 16 kills on the night, while senior Emily Cayton had a double-double in the match, posting 13 kills and 18 digs.
Cayton was also strong serving the ball, going 16-of-18 on the night with a team-high three aces.
Ali Butters finished the night as the top server in efficiency, going 14-for-14 on the night with two aces, while Amanda Miller was strong defensively for the Hawks with 10 digs.
Junior Clarice Murphy and freshman Sami Miller split setting duties, as Murphy led the team with 19 assists, and Miller had 13 on the night.
