Registration now open for summer Parks and Rec youth camps

Middle School volleyball camp

This camp will offer instruction and participation in a concentrated, technique oriented practice setting. The skills of passing, setting, hitting and serving will be emphasized in drills, along with involving strategies and coverage on the court. The camp is instructed by Luci Wulfekuhle, the Mt. Pleasant varsity volleyball coach.

Youth golf camp

Participants ages eight to 14 will be introduced to the basic fundamentals of the proper grip, swing, stance and etiquette. The camp will be taught by a former member of the University of Iowa women's golf team.

Youth tennis camp

Over five days of instruction, participants ages eight to 14 will learn the basic skills of tennis through instructional drills and game participation.

Youth soccer camp

The instructional program is open to children in first through sixth grade. Participants will learn the basics of soccer through instructional drills and scrimmages.
