Registration under way for Fairfield adult softball leagues

The Fairfield Park and Recreation Department is again offering softball leagues this spring and summer.

Three leagues ? a Men?s Softball League, Co-Ed Softball League and Masters 40-plus Softball League ? are available for registration. Games will be held from 6-10 p.m. weeknights beginning April 30 at O.B. Nelson Park.

The deadline for team registration is 5 p.m. April 24. Cost for Men?s Softball League and Co-Ed Softball League teams is $250, while the cost for registering Masters 40-plus Softball League teams is $200. The entire fee must be paid in full at the time of registration.

Register online at www.fairfieldparksandrec.com or drop off a completed form and registration fee to the Roosevelt Recreation Center. A $50 late fee will be charged to anyone registering after the deadline.

No refunds will be given once the schedule is made. By signing a roster, participants are agreeing to abide by a code of conduct, league rules, procedures and schedules. Players may only play for one team, and there is a limit of 20 players per roster.
