Ronald Dean ?Ronnie? Christe, 64, of West Burlington and formerly of New London, died on Thursday, Nov. 19, 2015, at his home.
According to his wishes, Christe has been cremated and there will be a private family inurnment in Jaggar Cemetery, rural Danville. There will be a visitation beginning after noon on Tuesday, Nov. 24, at Elliott Chapel, in New London, with the family greeting friends from 5 to 7 p.m.

Ronald Dean ?Ronnie? Christe, 64, of West Burlington and formerly of New London, died on Thursday, Nov. 19, 2015, at his home.

A memorial has been established to the Salvation Army.
Christe was born on March 22, 1951, in Burlington, the son of Willis T. and Mabel Celestine Moore Christe. He married Shirley Denney and they later divorced.
He worked at Dresser Rand Iron Works, in Burlington, for 45 years.
He enjoyed hunting, fast cars, gardening, Hawkeye football, basketball and spending time with his family.
He was of the Christian faith.
Christe is survived by a daughter, Erica Christe, of Greenfield, Ind.; a son Shane (Brandy) Christe, four grandchildren; his brothers, George (Mary) Christe, of New London; Paul (Patricia) Christe, of Thayer, Mo.; and sister, Mary Larson, of New London.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Larry; and his sisters, Betty Jane Christe; and Phyllis Turnquist.
