Running clinic coming soon

WEST BURLINGTON ? Great River Medical Center is offering a clinic for athletes, age 12 and up, who want to improve their running forms and techniques. The clinic is scheduled from noon to 4 p.m. Feb. 25 in the Nike Room at Great River Center for Rehab and Clinics, 1401 W. Agency Rd., West Burlington.

Presentation topics include nutrition and hydration, proper shoe wear and stretching. Participants will receive running-form analyses and critiques, and running clinic T-shirts.

Clinic faculty members with Great River Center for Rehab and Clinics include certified athletic trainers, physical therapists, and strength and conditioning and USA Triathlon coaches.

Cost for individual participants is $20; four or more athletes with a school team who register with a coach will receive $5 off.
