Saturday baseball: Hillcrest splits

Hillcrest Academy 3, English Valleys 2
Hillcrest and English Valleys went scoreless for four inning before both scored two in the fifth. In the sixth, the Ravens were able to pull out the win with a single run.
Noah Miller and Grant Bender each had a hit for the Ravens. Miller and Liam Schrock each had an RBI as well.
Jace Rempel took the win on the hill for Hillcrest.
No. 4 (1A) Kee 9, Hillcrest Academy 6
Kee took an 8-0 lead after two innings against the Ravens.
Hillcrest clawed its way back with six runs between the third and fifth, but couldn’t get enough to top the fourth rated Kee Hawks.
Seth Ours and Rowan Miller each had two hits in the loss. Ours hit two home runs with four RBIs. Liam Schrock, Luke Schrock, Jace Rempel and Josiah Beachy each had one hit. Rempel had an RBI too.
Phoenix Anderson, Grant Bender and Miller all threw from the mound.
