Washington names four to all-conference teams, Fairfield and Mt. Pleasant three

Another Iowa high school boys basketball season in nearly finished with the state tournament this week, which means all-conference teams are being announced.
The Southeast Conference is the latest to release its 2024-25 boys all-conference lists, which means players from Washington, Mt. Pleasant and Fairfield are all honored.
Washington leads the Union area with four all-conference selections. Mt. Pleasant and Fairfield follow with three each.
All conference teams have a pair of honorable mentions that are included.
This season, Fort Madison and Keokuk lead the conference with five total selections
The Bloodhounds won the SEC title with a record of 8-2. Keokuk followed at 7-3, Washington 5-5, Burlington 5-5 as well, Fairfield 4-6 and Mt. Pleasant 1-9.
For Washington, senior Logan McDole is the lone first-team honoree.
McDole did a little bit of everything for the Demons in his final run. He led Washington scoring 13.1 points a night. He also posted a team best 3.4 assists a game. McDole averaged 4.0 rebound and 1.3 steals a game as well.
The Demons second team selection is junior Rajan Roth. Roth was one of the most efficient players in the league for Washington. He averaged 7.9 points a game and a team best 5.0 rebounds a night.
Washington’s pair of honorable mention selections are junior Drew Conrad and Nic Stone. The pair averaged 9.1 and 9.8 points a game respectively.
For Fairfield, senior Riley Perkins earns a first team nod after a stellar final season. Perkins led the Trojans scoring 15.4 points a night. He also dished out 4.2 assists with 5.0 rebounds and 1.9 steals.
Senior Lucas Konczal and Eli Zillman were each named to honorable mention. Konczal averaged 6.9 points a game, while Zillman scored 10.7 a night.
For Mt. Pleasant, junior Noah Lange gets onto second team. He dominated the post for the Panthers. Lange averaged 9.7 points a game, while pulling down 7.7 rebounds a night and shooting 59.1% from the field.
Junior’s Aiden Humble and Ian Reid were each named to honorable mention. Humble averaged 10.6 points a game and Reid 8.2 points.
