SEC All-Conference lists announced
The lists for the All-Southeast Conference volleyball and cross-country teams were officially released this week, with a pair of Demons earning honors, as well as a number of Washington student-athletes earning Academic All-Conference selections.

The lists for the All-Southeast Conference volleyball and cross-country teams were officially released this week, with a pair of Demons earning honors, as well as a number of Washington student-athletes earning Academic All-Conference selections.
For volleyball, the lone selection to the All-Conference teams was senior McKenna Brinning, who earned a second-team selection.
Brinning was also among the ten Demon volleyballers who were named to the Academic All-Conference team.
She was joined by seniors Morgan Kimball, Shelby Mineart, Shannon Powers, Amber Salow, Joceline Spenner and Emma Stout, while juniors Victoria Barber, Jessie Buchholz and Alexis Turner were also named to the Academic All-Conference team.
On the cross-country lists, senior Emme Keith was the lone All-Conference selection, after taking seventh place at the conference meet held at Washington Golf and Country Club.
The senior saw her season end at districts, finishing just six seconds from qualifying for state.
Keith was also named to the Academic All-Conference list, joining fellow seniors Brynna DeLong, Addie Pacha, and Emma Wood, and juniors Maddie Hinrichsen, Lexi Redlinger, Kyle Schindler and Colin Zear.
