SEC All-Conference wrestling selections
Mt. Pleasant, Washington and Fairfield cap offseason with all-conference picks

For the Union area big school boys and girls wrestling teams, Mt. Pleasant, Washington and Fairfield it was yet another action packed wrestling season.
With the season’s conclusion, it’s time to take a look at this season’s all-conference lists.
Fairfield led the Union area boys in the final Southeast Conference standings, finishing third at 4-1. Washington followed in fourth with a record of 2-3, while Mt. Pleasant finished sixth at 0-5.
Fort Madison took first at 5-0 and Burlington was second at 4-1. Keokuk finished fifth at 1-4.
Leading the charge on the All-Conference first-team list is Washington with three selections and Fairfield with a pair.
Washington sophomore Aaron Boone (120), freshman Caden Greiner (126) and junior Chase Greiner (160) were all selected to first-team.
Fairfield freshman Cael McCabe (113) and senior Zach Westercamp (132) were the Trojans first-team selections.
Fort Madison led the SEC with five first-team distinctions.
On second-team, Fairfield had three more selections. Sophomore Cason Miller (145), senior Aiden Lyons (170) and freshman Dain Burkhart (182) were all picked.
Mt. Pleasant senior Bowen Davis (152) was one of two second-teamers for the Panthers. Junior Franklin Tousigant (285) was the other.
Washington sophomores Nate Edmonds (106) and Jude Carter (138) were picks as well.
On the girls’ side, Mt. Pleasant led the area with five first-team selections.
Washington followed with three, including the SEC Wrestler of the Year.
Senior Ella McNamee (105), sophomore Alexis Wagner (115), freshman Natalie Parrott (120), freshman Zenlynn Lee (190) and sophomore Natalie Albright (235) were all named to first-team.
Washington senior Teegan Sulentich was named the SEC Wrestler of the Year for her dominance at 155.
Junior’s Jillian Langstraat (110) and Jenna Bose (145) were also named to first-team.
On second-team, Fairfield freshman Alyia Abbott (105) and senior Jaydin Scharf (120) were both selected.
Mt. Pleasant senior Jayden Housh (130) and Washington sophomore Peggy Miller (140) were named to the list as well.
