SEC announces 2010-11 all-conference squads

Mount Pleasant, which will enter next week?s Class 3A state basketball tournament as the No. 1 seed, dominated the all-Southeast Conference team with three first team selections.

As selected by the league?s coaches, Fairfield?s Grant Curran was placed on the second team after leading the Trojans with 13.2 points per game. Derek Byrnes and Josh Hyde were given honorable mention for Fairfield.

On the girls? side, league champion Washington placed three on the first team as Fairfield seniors Meredith Flatery and Heather Mason earned second-team recognition. Annie Buch, Gretchen Granneman and Tori Ogden received honorable mention. Complete all-SEC teams are as follows:
