SEC girls’ results from Keokuk
Mt. Pleasant takes third, Washington fourth and Fairfield fifth

KEOKUK — Another week down and yet another Southeast Conference girls golf meet completed.
Thursday evening the six SEC teams gathered in Keokuk.
It was an up and down invitational for the trio of Union area teams as Mt. Pleasant finished third with 202 points. Washington followed in fourth with a final score of 208 and Fairfield took fifth with 212 points.
Keokuk once again took the team title, its fourth straight, with a 186. Fort Madison tallied 199 points for second. Burlington competed as well, but did not post team points.
Individually, Ella Bentler of Fairfield was the highest area finisher. Bentler took second with a 45. Her teammate in Aries Wagner earned a 10th place finish with a 50.
Mt. Pleasant’s Ashlynn Beauchamp finished third with a 46. The Panther’s Sophia Walderbach as well as Washington’s Lucy Sands carded 48s.
Keokuk’s Alli Ames was the meet medalist with a 43.
Also for Mt. Pleasant, Izzy Zihlman finished with a 52, Vivian Cornell a 56 and Olivia McCormick a 65.
For Washington, Lauren Hinrichsen scored a 50. Elizabeth Hora had a 51, Presley Hora a 59 and Sydney Stouder a 61.
Olivia Hollander notched a 57 for Fairfield. Vanessa Kessel had a 60 and Addie Qualters a 67.
The girls will be back at it on Monday, when they will compete in Mt. Pleasant.
