SEISC All-Academic team announced
The Southeast Iowa Super Conference has released its All-Academic team for the fall semester.
Juniors and seniors who participated in a sport or were a support team member who had a GPA of 3.25 or better in the recent grading period were eligible for recognition. Football players are not recognized by this list because they play in different districts and not in the SEISC.

The Southeast Iowa Super Conference has released its All-Academic team for the fall semester.
Juniors and seniors who participated in a sport or were a support team member who had a GPA of 3.25 or better in the recent grading period were eligible for recognition. Football players are not recognized by this list because they play in different districts and not in the SEISC.
Pekin volleyball players that were recognized included seniors Jenna Swanson, Peyton Atwood, Jessica Horras, Tiana Slaney, Allie Phillips and Taiylor Morgan. Slaney led the Panthers in aces this past season with 23. Atwood was second on the team in kills with 72.
Samantha Wright, who ran on the Pekin girls State Championship team this year, also made the list.
The other Pekin students who made the list are Madelyn Baker, Maggie Brown, Ligeia Ervin, Bridget Fritchen, Sanna Haugane, Whitney Horras, Jerica Ingle, Mallory Reed, Caylee Swearingen, Shelbi Talley, Sofie Teistedal, Alison Deutschle, Clayton Essary, Apryl Knox, Hannah Robison and Avery Bennett.
Cardinal High School volleyball players Leea Ostrander, Katey Liles, Jenna Lindler and Danae Moses were recognized by the SEISC as well. Ostrander and Liles are the only two seniors that made it from the volleyball team. Ostrander was first in the team in aces with 45 and was second on the team in kills with 117. Elizabeth Denniston and Danielle Wycoff from Cardinal made the list as well.
The Maharishi School for the Age of Enlightenment students that made the list are Samantha Bell, Suraj Pullapantula, Alex Hoffmann, Lalith Pullapantula, Qiangian Guo, Kadie Roberts, Huijiun Zhou, Hifza Akbar, Xi Chen and Avery Travis.
The Van Buren High School students who received recognition are Ryan Booth, Jessie Cassens, Nicole Coffin, Seth Dickinson, Shayla Filson, Sarah Frey, Jessica Harryman, Courtney Hervey, Molly Hervey, Abbie Johnson, Nolan Lydolph, Caitlyn Millard, Faith Murphy, Drew Nolting, Sarah Reynolds, Abby Rider, Tyler Runyon, Jenna Thornburg, Hannah Wells, Aletha Wenke, Joshua Wenke, Hallie Whitten and Madison Zimmer.
