SEISC releases boys’ b-ball teams

The Southeast Iowa Super Conference released its All-Conference lists last week and Henry County was well represented. A total of 14 players were selected to the teams. WACO coach Paul Kissell was named Coach of the Year in the South Division.
New London led the way with seven players named, including South Divisoin co-Player of the Year Mason Porter. Porter, who scored 16 points per game this season, shared that honor with Notre Dame's Gaivn Kies.
Fellow Tiger seniors Keontae Lucket (12.3 ppg) and Isaac McSorley (10.4 ppg) joined Porter on the South Division first team. WACO's Nik Coble (17.9 points per game) was the lone junior on the first team in the South.
New London had two players on the South Division second team. Grant Swanson (11.8 ppg) and Darius Whaley (9.2 ppg) both made the squad. For WACO, both Drew Kissell (11.4 ppg) and Colton Horak (6.8 ppg) made second team.
Each team had the option of naming two players to the Honorable Mention list. New London's honorable mentions were Jalen Birdsell (6.7 ppg) and Tyler Henecke (2.9 ppg). WACO's honorable mentions were Gabe Reichenbach (8.2 ppg) and Elijah McGohan (6.3 ppg), and Winfield-Mt. Union's honorable mentions were Ty Yocum (9.4 ppg) and Christian Gerot (9.2 ppg).
