Holy Trinity Catholic, Mediapolis lead the pack

Heading into 2024 the Southeast Iowa Super Conference South is a tight race at the top.
Holy Trinity Catholic and Mediapolis are one and two in the standings, each with 5-1 conference records.
Danville and Notre Dame follow close behind at 4-2 and 4-3 respectively. Then its Central Lee at 3-4, followed by Van Buren County, West Burlington and New London who are all 1-5.
It’s really anyone’s conference to take at this point as HTC’s lone loss came against Notre Dame, 61-57, while Mediapolis fell to the Crusaders 59-52. Danville also notched a victory against Notre Dame, 73-58. The Bears also narrowly fell to HTC 48-42.
Central Lee’s three victories came against the three teams below them in Van Buren County, 45-34, West Burlington, 66-50, and New London, 43-29.
As for the trio at 1-5, those wins have came against one another. New London defeated West Burlington, 50-48, Van Buren County downed New London, 40-32, and West Burlington topped Van Buren County 39-30.
