Seventh grade boys win home tournament

The Mt Pleasant seventh grade boys basketball team won the Mt. Pleasant Tournament, which was at the Mt. Pleasant Community High School this past weekend. They defeated the Iowa City Rebels, the Cedar Rapids Rush, and the Cedar Rapids Xtreme.

The basketball tournament was hosted by the seventh grade boys? and fifth grade girls? tournament teams.

The girls finished the tournament 0-3, but they were in each game until the end.

Members of the fifth-grade girls? team are: Maggie Cristoforo, Lydia Stewart, Lexie Magnani, Isabel Ashton, Serenity Keomanivong, Kenna Smith, Haylie ODonnell, Reece Barton, Ashley Elmore and Emily Stewart.
