Seventh-grade boys wrap up hoops season
The Washington seventh-grade boys? basketball A team finished off the year splitting its final four games of the season.
The Demons opened up the final stretch with a 34-14 victory over Fairfield, which featured Trashaun Willis notching 14 points, 12 rebounds and five steals.

The Washington seventh-grade boys? basketball A team finished off the year splitting its final four games of the season.
The Demons opened up the final stretch with a 34-14 victory over Fairfield, which featured Trashaun Willis notching 14 points, 12 rebounds and five steals.
Thomas Bias had seven points in the game, while Wyatt Stout had four points and six rebounds.
In the next game at home against Ottumwa, Willis led the team with six points and seven rebounds, but the Demons fell to the Indians 26-16.
Noah Suchan had four points and four rebounds, while Stout had two points and four rebounds and Bias led the team with three steals.
The next night, Washington responded with a 45-25 victory over Aldo Leopold, led by Bias? 14 points and eight rebounds.
Willis also had 14 points to go with 17 rebounds, while both Stout and Kael Adam had five points and seven rebounds.
The Demons wrapped up the season against Keokuk, but were handed an overtime loss, falling 36-33 to the Chiefs.
Suchan led the team with nine points, while Adam notched five points and nine rebounds.
Willis had six points and six rebounds, while Zach Stout had two points and eight rebounds in the contest.
The seventh-grade A team finished the year at 6-6, while the B team wrapped up its season at 6-6 and the C team finished 7-5.
?We as coaches saw a lot of improvement from our players this season,? coach Mark Berhow said, ?We had some exciting finishes with two overtime games on the A team. We have high expectations for this group of guys in the future.?
