Sexton wins Fairfield meet
It was another strong meet for Highland?s Keiffer Sexton on Thursday night.
Two nights after finishing in second place at the Keota Invitational, the senior took the crown in the small-school portion of the meet in Fairfield.

It was another strong meet for Highland?s Keiffer Sexton on Thursday night.
Two nights after finishing in second place at the Keota Invitational, the senior took the crown in the small-school portion of the meet in Fairfield.
Sexton ran a 17:02 in the race, helping the Highland boys to a third-place team finish.
Caleb Brase followed Sexton, finishing with an 18:23, good for eighth place, while Josh Brand took 20th with a 20:25.
Jared Gringer took 22nd with a 20:44, while Highland?s James McPherson finished in 27th with a 22:05 to round out the scoring.
Nic Rath finished in 30th place at the meet, running a 22:15, and the team was rounded out by Nathan Butler, who took 41st with a 27:01.
On the girls? side, Zoe Mahler was the top Highland finisher, taking 22nd with a time of 28:39.
Cheyann Adamson finished in 30th place with a 30:44.
For Iowa Mennonite, Jim Wang led the boys? team at the meet, taking 28th place with a 22:08.
Jacob Boller finished close behind him with a 22:16, good for 31st place overall.
On the girls? side, IMS didn?t have any runner in the varsity meet, but Calli Shaw led the way in the junior varsity meet, taking third place with a 24:10.
IMS and Highland will both compete in North English on Tuesday, when the teams run at Knoll Ridge Country Club.
