Shakov and Nolan win Riverside Trail Race 5K

Paul Shakov was the overall male winner of the Riverside Trail Race 5K, which was held on Saturday, while Wendy Nolan was the overall female winner.

Shakov crossed the finish line in 19:17, one second ahead of Tucker Hall, who won the 19-and-under age group. Caleb Brase finished second in the 19-and-under age group in 22:30. Steve Wyat won the men?s 20-29 age group in 22:06. Brett Kiene won the men?s 30-39 division in 27:05, and Richard Bolan was second in 27:56. Dave Mitchell won the men?s 40-49 age group in 20:42, and Rick Louder came in second in 24:55.

Nolan crossed the finish line in 23:50. Kristin Branham won the women?s 20-29 age group in 29:20, and Rebecca Franklin was second in 35:11. Kari Kiene won the women?s 30-39 division in 32:37, and Shannon Shaplan came in second in 39:27. Julie Kreger won the women?s 40-49 age group in 27:18, edging Angie Luny by two seconds. Ellen Branham won the women?s 50-59 division in 29:03, and Ellen Cloyed won the women?s 60-69 age group in 37:39. Sarah Burns won the 19-and-under division.
