MT. PLEASANT - The Southeast Conference basketball seasons begin tonight, but neither the girls or boys league will begin in full. Only two of six originally scheduled games will be on the docket when the league kicks off tonight.
Mt. Pleasant and Fort Madison will play in both boys and girls basketball. The boys will play in Mt. Pleasant while the girls play at Fort Madison.
The Panther boys and girls both come into Friday night's games at 0-1. Fort Madison's girls are 1-0 and the Bloodhound boys have yet to play.
Washington and Fairfield were originally scheduled to play each other in both boys and girls basketball. Both of those games were postponed due to Fairfield being at fully online school.
Keokuk and Burlington were also set to play tonight, but those games have been moved as well. Burlington isn't set to come back to in person leraning until December 11.
