Shull named to IGCA first team, INA second team all-state
Mt. Pleasant senior basketball player Taylor Shull was chosen first team all-state by the Iowa Girls Coaches Association and second team all-state by the Iowa Newspaper Association.
The IGCA released their teams this morning, naming Shull among the eight first team selections for Class 3A.

Mt. Pleasant senior basketball player Taylor Shull was chosen first team all-state by the Iowa Girls Coaches Association and second team all-state by the Iowa Newspaper Association.
The IGCA released their teams this morning, naming Shull among the eight first team selections for Class 3A.
Shull was also one of the eight girls on the Class 3A INA all-state team. She was chosen by members of the media as one of three ?back court? players, and the list was released yesterday afternoon.
The Panthers? starting point guard, Shull broke the school?s all-time scoring record in the third game of the year. She scored 410 points this season, ending her final season at Mt. Pleasant with 1,439 career points.
She led the Southeast Conference and tied for second in Class 3A with 19.5 points per game. She was second in the conference with 69 assists (3.3 per game) and 63 steals (three per game). She also ranks third in the conference with 32 3-pointers made this season.
Shull has already received first team all-SEC honors this season, and she was named the conference?s Player of the Year.
She has signed her letter of intent to play basketball at NCAA Division I Bradley University next year.
