Sigourney-Keota up to 5th, New London to 7th in football rankings

Sigourney-Keota and New London just keep jumbling around in the Cedar Rapids Gazette football polls. One week after dropping back a spot each, the Cobras and Tigers are both up in this week’s rankings.

Sigourney-Keota is up to No. 5, tied with MFL MarMac for that spot in Class 1A. In Class 8-Player, New London bumped up to No. 7, where it is tied with Newell-Fonda.

In Class 1A, Cardinal is chomping at the bit to get into the Top-10. The Comets are the last team out, getting three votes this week.

WACO is sticking around in Class 8-Player. The Warriors were the third team receiving votes, getting two of them.
