Sigourney-Keota, WACO stay in place

It’s different week same story for the Union area schools in the Cedar Rapids Gazette’s high school football poll.

Sigourney-Keota and WACO stayed put in the latest rankings. The Cobras remain No. 5 in the Class 1A poll, and WACO is still settled in at No. 7 in Class 8-Player.

Just one No. 1 spot in the poll was relinquished this week. In Class 2A, previously top-ranked Southeast Valley suffered its first loss, opening the door for a new No. 1; West Marshall.
