Sirdoreus shoots first turkey
Ben Sirdoreus, 8, of Fairfield, bagged the first turkey of his young hunting career today. Sirdoreus shot the 22-pound bird with a 20-gauge youth model shotgun while hunting with his father, Jerry Sirdoreus. The turkey?s beard measures 10.5 inches and its spurs measure 1-1/8 inches.
