Sixth-grade team places first in two basketball tournaments
The Mt. Pleasant sixth-grade boys' basketball tournament team has started its season with two tournament wins.
The team hosted a tournament on Oct. 1 and took first place. Then, on Oct. 15, the boys played in a tournament in North Liberty and once again claimed the top spot.
The team?s next tournament will be in Ames.
