Columbus 3, Winfield-Mt. Union 2
Columbus got the better of Winfield-Mt. Union on Tuesday night on the road. The Wildcats and Wolves traded sets back and forth before the former took the head-to-head win.
The match ended 25-21, 20-25, 27-25, 21-25 and 15-11.
Columbus’ Kennedy Woepking finished with 11 kills in the win. Jessica Del Rio and Aracely Garza each had nine.
Daniela Diaz finished with 34 assists. Garza led the Wildcats with 23 digs as well.
For WMU, Kellee Milks had 14 kills. Kynlee Buffington followed with 11.
Kaelyn Townsley ended with 20 assists. Pacey Schlee had 30 digs for the Wolves.
Keota 2, WACO 0
Keota edged WACO in quad matchup on Tuesday.
The Eagles defeated the Warriors 21-18 and 21-16.
Lone Tree 2, WACO 1
WACO came up short against Lone Tree in a four team head-to-head on Tuesday.
The Warriors won the first set againt the Lions 23-21, but dropped two straight 21-18 and 15-10 to end it.
Morgan Meyer finished with eight assists to lead WACO.
Courtney Waterhouse led with seven kills. Brenna Graber had 15 digs.
Knoxville 3, Cardinal 0
Cardinal had a tough time with Knoxville on Tuesday night.
The Comets fell in three sets to the Panthers 25-13, 25-10 and 25-13.
Lone Tree 2, Keota 0
Lone Tree got the better of Keota on Tuesday night. The Lions narrowly downed the Eagles in set one 24-22, but went on to take the second 21-17.
