Smith places at state skeet shooting meet
Mt. Pleasant shooter shines in individual event
WAUKEE — Mt. Pleasant’s Jenna Smith represented the Panther trap team well at the Iowa’s Scholastic Clay Target Program Skeet Championships in late June.
Smith was the only area shooter to place in the Top 6 in either the boy’s or girl’s competition. She took sixth place overall.

The girl’s competition was won by Emily Uitermarkt of Pella Christian, which won the squad competition as well. Pella’s Alec VandeNoord took first place in the boy’s competition.
