BOYS
Burlington Notre Dame 6, Hillcrest Academy 0 (Monday)
It was a tough outing for the Ravens against the Nikes.
Hillcrest kept it close after one, 2-0, but the Nikes dropped in another four goals in the second to make it 6-0.
Notre Dame took 26 shot with 15 on goal.
Aiden Krabill made 14 saves and Collin Miller two for the Ravens.
Mid-Prairie 10, Anamosa 0
The Golden Hawks continue their unbeaten streak with win over Blue Raiders.
Mid-Prairie scored six goals in the first half alone, and added four more in the second. An outrageous, 54 total shot were taken by the Golden Hawks and 33 were on target.
Gunnar Gingerich finished with three goals in the match. Noah Ford had two goals and two assists. Jackson Pennington ended with two goals and one assist. Owen Trimpe tallied a goal and an assist. Braden Hartley and Beau Flynn each added one goal. Sawyer Hough, Daniel Rodgers, Alex Bean and Collin Miller each finished with an assist.
Andrew Kaufman had three saves in goal.
Columbus/Winfield-Mt. Union 5, Sigourney-Keota 1 (Tuesday)
Columbus controlled every aspect of the game against Sigourney-Keota.
Three goals were scored in the first half by the Wildcats and two in the second. The Cobras got on the board late, but it was too little too late.
Ty Shafranek score the Cobras lone goal. Brock Alderson tallied 23 saves for Sigourney-Keota.
Columbus/Winfield-Mt. Union 6, Highland 1 (Monday)
Columbus had everything going in its match against Highland.
The Wildcats put three goals on the Huskies in the first period and capped that off with three more in the second.
Highland grabbed one late goal, but it wasn’t enough.
Central Lee 8, Highland 0 (Tuesday)
The Huskies had a tough time slowing down the Hawks in the two’s matchup.
Central Lee scored six goals in the first half and two in the second to down the Highland.
GIRLS
Mid-Prairie 4, Central Lee 2 (Monday)
Mid-Prairie’s four first half goals were enough to down Central Lee.
Central Lee finished with a goal in each half, but it wasn’t enough to best the Golden Hawks.
Kaitlin Martin finished with two goals for the Golden Hawks. Esther Hughes and Sophia Baker scored one goal a piece.
Ainsley Lueck had four saves.
Mid-Prairie 5, Anamosa 3 (Tuesday)
Anamosa led 2-1 after one half of play, but Mid-Prairie answer with a big second half to pull out a win.
The Golden Hawks scored four goals to the Blue Raiders one in the second.
Esther Hughes scored three goals and had one assist for the Golden Hawks. Zoey Curtiss finished with two goals and one assist. Kaitlin Martin ended with two assists and Julia Boller had one.
Ainsley Lueck had nine saves in the match.
