Danville/New London 10, Highland 0 (Monday)
The Bears picked up their first win of the season in the victory over the Huskies on Monday.
It was a dominating performance for the Bears, scoring seven goals in the first and three in the second.
Colin Pealer scored three goals along with three assists. Talan Whaley had three goals and one assist. Dakota Dietsch tallied two goals and three assist. Aiden Konig finished with one goal and one assist. Caden Callaway and Titus Svoboda finished with one assist.
Columbus/Winfield-Mt. Union 1, Tipton 0 (Monday)
The Wildcats lone first half goal was enough to hold off the Tigers in the two’s Monday night contest.
Mid-Prairie 1, Tipton 0 (Monday)
It took the Golden Hawks extra time to down the Tigers on Tuesday night and stay unblemished.
Jarrett Hoffman scored the game winning goal for Mid-Prairie. In goal, Justice Jones tallied four saves.
GIRLS
Solon 4, Mid-Prairie 0 (Monday)
The Golden Hawks struggled to get going against the Spartans.
After one half of play, Mid-Prairie was down just one goal. Solon piled it on in the second, adding another three goals to hand the Golden Hawks a loss.
Ainsley Lueck finished with six saves for the Golden Hawks.
Mid-Prairie 5, Tipton 4 (Tuesday)
Mid-Prairie bounced back after its Monday loss to Solon with a victory over Tipton on Tuesday.
The first half was a slug fest between the two teams, with the Golden Hawks holding a 4-3 lead after one. The one goal lead would be the difference in the game as both added an additional goal in the second.
Esther Hughes finished with four goals for the Golden Hawks. Kaitlin Martin tallied one goal.
Ainsley Lueck ended with two saves in goal.
Tipton 3, Columbus/Winfield-Mt. Union (Monday)
The Wildcats couldn’t get anything going against the Tigers.
After one half of play the Wildcats found themselves down 2-0. In the second, Tipton added another goal to secure the shutout.
Alynna Leos was in goal for Columbus/WMU. She had 14 saves in the contest.
Keokuk 5, Columbus/Winfield-Mt. Union 3 (Tuesday)
Columbus/WMU fell just short to Keokuk on Tuesday night.
The Wildcats were down just one goal after a half of play, 2-1. Keokuk was able to edge out the Wildcats in the second, winning the scoring battle 3-2 in the half.
