Columbus 6, Wapello 2
Columbus took care of Wapello on Tuesday night. The Wildcats scored five runs between the third and fourth before add one additional in the seventh.
Hillcrest Academy 13, Pekin 8
Hillcrest Academy picked up a SEISC North win on Tuesday against Pekin.
The Ravens scored a run in all but one inning on the night. It was an 8-6 ballgame after four frames, but the Ravens added five more the rest of the way out.
Cardinal 9, Davis County 0
Highland 10, WACO 0
Highland scored all 10 runs through three innings against WACO Tuesday. The Huskies scored one in the first, five in the second and four in the third.
No. 9 (4A) Clear Creek Amana 5, No. 10 (3A) Washington 4
Clear Creek Amana just edge Washington on Tuesday. The Demons trailed 5-2 after the third inning, but made it a one run game after back-to-back runs in the fourth and fifth.
They would never score again as CCA took the win.
Oskaloosa 11, Mt. Pleasant 3
Mt. Pleasant fell behind Oskaloosa 5-2 on Tuesday and could never get back into it.
The Indians scored six more runs through the fourth and sixth inning. The Panthers added one in the fifth.
Central Lee 9, Van Buren County 1
Central Lee went up 9-0 on VBC through four innings on Tuesday night. The Warriors scored their lone run in the fifth, but couldn’t get back into it.
Mediapolis 9, New London 2
New London came up short against Mediapolis on Tuesday. The Bulletts scored three runs each in the fourth and fifth before adding three more in the seventh.
