South Division wins shootout

The Southeast Iowa Super Confernce held all nine girls shoot out games on Friday and despite a rocky day in the top two games, the South Division beat the North, 6-3.
The North Division won two marquee games at Iowa Wesleyan University, when No. 11 (2A) Mediapolis knocked off No. 9 (1A) Notre Dame 56-49 in the No. 1 game, and Wapello beat No. 6 (2A) Van Buren 47-40 in the No. 2 game, but the South Division won six of the other seven games that night.
No. 10 (3A) West Burlington defeated Pekin 69-44 in the No. 3 game. Central Lee toppled Louisa-Muscatine 56-40 in the No. 2 matchup. Holy Trinity outlasted Winfield-Mt. Union 48-36 in the No. 5 game.
Lone Tree was able to defeat New London 55-42 in the No. 6 game, the only other North Division win on the night besides the top two games. The South Division swept the bottom three games, with Danville beating Highland 55-28 in the No. 7 game, WACO beating Columbus 56-42 in the No. 8 game and Cardinal beating Hillcrest 52-38 in the No. 9 game.
