A message from Fairfield swim team coach Erin Cracker about the meet Thursday: The final home meet at Fairfield Aquatic Center for the Fairfield Trojan girls swim team sparkled with excitement. Each girl was on a mission to achieve her personal best against Burlington and Keokuk. I can officially state that each girl completed that. The biggest time drops were Lauren Ward in the 500 free style and Madi McDowell in the 100 breast stroke. Ward shaved off nine seconds since our meet on Monday. McDowell also cut four seconds since Monday as well. Katherine Mueller was two points away of accomplishing her personal best since the six dive Muscatine Invitational. I am extremely proud of the initiative the girls took on tonight to do well.
