Sprouse sprouts for game-high 22 for Keota

NORTH ENGLISH - Keota's boys basketball team slowly built up a lead Tuesday in a road South Iowa Cedar League game. The Eagles got contributions from most everyone in the 75-47 victory over English Valleys.
It was 13-9 after a quarter and 37-22 at halftime for Keota. A 20-8 third quarter gave the Eagles a 57-30 lead to start the fourth quarter.
Carson Sprouse poured in 22 points to go with three steals and three rebounds. Keota teammate Brady Duwa produced 15 points, five assists, eight rebounds, two blocks and two steals. Luke Hammen had 10 points and six rebounds. Wyatt Sieren contributed six points, five rebounds and three assists.
Kaden Hall led EV with 15 points.
Keota plays at Belle Plaine Friday.
