St. Alphonsus holding Friday Fish Fry

St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Mt. Pleasant, 607 S. Jackson, will be hosting a Friday Fish Fry on April 1-8 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The event was created and is sponsored by the Henry County Knights of Columbus. All money raised from the event will be used toward creating scholarships for graduating seniors.

Adult Meals will cost $12 a person and feature, fried filet or six jumbo shrimp, french fries and a dinner roll, and coleslaw or applesauce.

A kids meal also will be offered. The kids meal will cost $6. Order options include grilled cheese, fish, or shrimp in half-size portions. French fries and a dinner roll are also included.

Orders can be picked up on the north side of Manning Hall off Webster Street. People can also dine-in. Orders can be picked up and eaten inside Manning Hall.

Orders must be paid at the time of pickup with cash, check or credit card.
