Stark, McCreight to coach All-Star teams

DALLAS CENTER — The 2026 Pizza Ranch All-Star teams have been announced, and the area will have both coaches and players on hand for the games.

The Pizza Ranch All-Star Games are contests held between teams of senior hoopers from around the state of Iowa, split into four different areas. Washington’s Collin Stark and Winfield-Mt. Union’s Mendy McCreight will each be coaching for the local Southeast teams.

Both coaches will be on the sidelines on March 28, when the teams face off at Dallas Center-Grimes High School. Both coaches will have a Union area athlete on their side.

On the Southeast boys team will be Mid-Prairie’s Bryce Henry, who led the Golden Hawks in scoring this season. On the girls’ team, Winfield-Mt. Union’s leading scorer, Madisen Kellogg, will get to play for her high school coach one more time.

Games on both the boys’ and girls’ sides are sponsored by the Iowa Basketball Coaches Association.
