Strong second half lifts Washington JV girls over Ottumwa
Washington and Ottumwa were tied at halftime of Saturday?s junior varsity girls? basketball game, but the Demons held the visiting Bulldogs to just six points in the second half as they went on to win 41-25.
?We had a great second half defensively,? Washington head coach Jay Zieglowsky said. ?The third quarter was big for us. The full-court press was finally effective and we went on a little bit of a run there.?
